Product Design
HyperSignals: from 0 to 1
Role :
Product Designer
Client :
Biconomy
Designed the full 0→1 UX of an AI-powered crypto copy trading platform — from information architecture to final UI.

PROBLEM :
Existing platforms drown users in charts and raw data. Without expertise to filter it, they're paralyzed — overwhelmed, lost, unsure who to trust.
The Goal
Build a system that filters market noise aggressively and surfaces only the best traders to copy.
The Design Challenge
Balance simplicity with utility — guide without intimidating, strip clutter without losing the metrics that drive confident decisions.

Research & Reducing Cognitive Load
The UX Insight
We had to define exactly what drives a copy trade decision — and ruthlessly cut everything else.
The Strategy
Stripped to essentials. Trust signals like ROI and win rates front and center — order books and technical indicators hidden from primary view.

Information Architecture
Structuring for Simplicity
One linear journey: Discover → Evaluate → Execute.
The Flow
Copy Trade discovery feeds into Single Trader Stats, leading directly to execution. No dead ends.
AI Support
AI prototypes validated the flow before any high-fidelity work began.

Designing the Terminal
The Core Challenge
Show dense market data without losing the everyday user.
The "Added Value" Trap
We added Top Traders, Whale positions, and L/S ratios for social proof. It seemed logical.
The UX Reality
Testing proved it backfired. In high-stress execution zones, more data actively degrades the experience.

Pivot
The User Feedback
The social feed created more clutter than value. Users didn't act on it.
The Business Friction
Critical flaw: our fees stacked on Hyperliquid's made every trade more expensive. The terminal wasn't viable.

Visual Language
Brand Psychology
Orange extends Biconomy's brand — bringing warmth to an otherwise cold, intimidating space.
Functional Restraint
Green and red reserved exclusively for financial data. No cognitive confusion during volatile markets.
Typography for Data
Typeface selected for numerical legibility — critical metrics scannable in under a second.
Scalable Design System
Built on Tailwind and Shadcn — rapid iteration, consistent structure, clean dev handoff.

Final High Fidelity UI & Launch
The Result
Shipped a minimalist, high-trust MVP. Pivoting from execution terminal to curated Collections eliminated information overload entirely.
The Impact
Dense market data distilled into a one-tap experience — visual simplicity without sacrificing the metrics users need to decide confidently.
